We recognise that we will not reduce disruptive behaviours through traditional education and appeals to the cognitive part of the brain.
We need to engage with the body and its relationship with trauma to reduce mental health issues and disruptive behaviour in children; trauma manifests in the body. This is why, at Awaken Genius, we integrate the Ubuntu philosophy and the mind-body connection as part of our organisational ethos.
